Timed Output Load Control, 4.25 L x 2.5 W x 2" D, Anodized Aluminum, 120 V, 1440 w, 12 A Electrical Requirement, Manual Control, From 5 to 100% of Rated Voltage, Handles 1 Circuit
Manual controls regulate the input voltage of resistive devices by turning the dial knob. Just plug your resistive load into the receptacle, turn on the switch and adjust the dial. The higher the number on the dial, the hotter your load will get. The Glas-Col Minitrol and Minitwin are manually adjusted power controls of percentage-timer design. They are designed to provide full-line voltage to load from 5.5% to 100% of time, depending on the dial position. The OFF position positively breaks both sides of line. The controls can be used on any non-inductive load up to rated capacity, and smaller fuses may be used for protection of very small loads. These controls effectively regulate Glas-Col heating mantles, tapes and cords. Also, they may be used for small furnaces or ovens, hot plates, dies or other applications requiring infinite control.
